Jason Eric Ross decided to follow his dreams and not give up his current job to do it! He lives his life with determination and intention always taking risks and denying regrets.

As can be seen, his professional accomplishments run the gamut – from psychotherapist, mental health counselor, and coach, to trainer, actor, and writer. Throughout his lifetime, Jason reinvented himself over and over. Amazingly, he has discovered a way to juggle it all – never sacrificing the things he desires to accomplish.

A Life-Long Journey

Without a doubt, Jason bravely follows a path of his own creation. This is certainly the way to live without regrets! After discovering his talent for stand-up comedy at the age of 19, he knew it would be in his future. However, Jason decided to enter grad school and use comedy as his backup plan.

His path led him from studying in his parents’ psychoanalytic institute and attending graduate school to working as a psychotherapist and mental health counselor, licensed in both the state of Florida and New York. Eventually, Jason became an expert in the area of substance abuse and mental health.

Choosing A New Path

It wasn’t until Jason was in his forties that he decided to jump back into comedy, something he has always loved. It was time to follow his lifelong dream so he began studying improv and sketch writing. Ultimately, this became a springboard for his professional acting career. In truth, Jason’s determination shows us there's no certain path to success and happiness. True bravery means writing your own story!

Through his transformation from a shy child to an outspoken adult, Jason learned to let go of the opinions of others and listen to his inner voice. He focuses on checking items off his bucket list. It’s certainly a fulfilling way to live! In doing so, he is always moving forward with his goals in mind. This is, without a doubt, a sure way to live without regrets. And that is something we, at The Brave Files, can get behind!

Giving is Good

Understanding the importance of mental health and wellness, Jason supports Addaction UK. This organization provides substance abuse and mental health support to people in the United Kingdom. Jason participated in a sprint triathlon (and plans to do so again) to raise money for Addaction UK. This continued work brings awareness to the stigma of mental health all over the world.
