After routine blood work, Lyn received a call that would change everything. At the age of 25, she was diagnosed with leukemia. There were countless tests run, and Lyn was put on medication to fight cancer. However, this diagnosis never felt right to Lyn. She knew something was wrong but she could not prove it. Truth was, she could simply feel that something was.
Her body was telling her the diagnosis was wrong.
Trust Your Body
After a great deal of persistence, Lyn was finally referred to a new doctor for a second opinion. Finally, after much effort, the doctors realized she been misdiagnosed.
Lyn did not have leukemia.
The correct diagnosis was a rare blood disorder. It was then that everything shifted for Lyn. Her body had been warning her all along, it was time to pay attention!
The body really does have wisdom that should be trusted!
Driven by this knowledge, Lyn jumped straight into exploring alternative healing methods including therapy, biofeedback, yoga, and acupuncture. Joyfully, she learned there are countless methods of healing. Truth is, there's no right or wrong solution for health concerns.
While medication is certainly warranted in certain situations, learning to talk to your body is key.
