Radical Ease: A Different Way To Win

The Code You’re Running Was Never Designed to Make You Happy

I’ve been called a lot of things over the years.

Brave. Bold. A little much. Too loud. Too honest. Not humble enough. A joy pusher.

But the one that’s stuck with me lately, the one I keep coming back to, is this: radical.

Because what I believe — what I’ve built my entire coaching practice (and my life!) around — is apparently still considered radical. And I think that’s worth talking about.

I believe joy is not something you earn.

I believe rest doesn’t require justification.

I believe the idea that life has to be hard to be worth it is one of the most destructive stories our culture has ever told — and most of us swallowed it whole before we were old enough to question it.

I know because I did too.

I Did Everything Right. It Still Didn’t Work.

I spent years doing it the “right” way. Hustling. Proving. Showing up even when I was running on empty, because that’s what responsible, serious, successful people do. Being “perfect” (wow, did that backfire!). I was good at it, honestly. Really good at it. I built businesses, raised four daughters, led teams, wrote books, hosted amazing podcasts, and spoke on stages all over the world.

And underneath all of it, I was exhausted in a way that a good night’s sleep couldn’t touch.

Not because I was doing too much — though I was — but because I was doing it from the wrong place. I hadn’t yet learned to give myself permission to start with the good stuff. To rest first, be joyful first, fill my own cup first. I was too busy trying to be all things to all people and never making a mistake. It didn’t work, and it couldn’t last.

The Ones Who Actually Win Do It Differently.

Here’s what I know now, after two decades of coaching leaders who look like they have it all together and are quietly unraveling on the inside:

The ones who break through — who build real abundance, who lead with genuine power, who actually like their lives — they’re not the ones who worked the hardest. They’re the ones who figured out how to start from joy instead of chasing it.

That’s the whole thing. That’s Radical Ease.

It’s not about doing less. It’s not about opting out or going soft or pretending the hard stuff doesn’t exist. I’m not interested in toxic positivity, and I’m not selling you a fantasy.

What I’m saying is this: the code most of us are running was never designed to make us happy. It was designed to make us productive. Compliant. Too tired to ask for more.

And when you finally see that? When you really let it land?

You stop trying to earn your way to joy and you start leading from it instead. You make decisions differently. You rest differently. You work differently. Everything that felt heavy starts to feel like it fits you again.

I’ve watched it happen hundreds of times. And every single time it still takes my breath away a little.

You’re Not Here by Accident.

So if you’ve landed here and something about this is resonating — that quiet recognition, that oh, she’s talking about me feeling — I want you to know that’s not an accident.

You’re not here because you need to be fixed. You’re here because part of you already knows there’s a better way to do this. A way that doesn’t require you to keep abandoning yourself to keep up.

That’s exactly where we start.

Welcome to Radical Ease. I’m really glad you’re here. 💛
